"Always enjoy the level of customer service here! They treat you like family whether they are familiar with you or not!"
- Kevin Coulter
For over 91 years, CO-OP Gas & Supply Company has been more than just a propane, farm, home, and hardware store—we’ve been a community of neighbors helping neighbors. Founded in 1934 by local families who each invested $10 to build something lasting for Bonner County, we’ve grown into one of the oldest cooperatives in the Sandpoint–Ponderay area.
Today, anyone can shop with us—but becoming a member is completely FREE and comes with real benefits. Members enjoy our low in-store pricing on everyday items, plus the opportunity to receive dividends at the end of the year—because when you’re part of the CO-OP, you share in the success.
At CO-OP Gas & Supply Company, you’re not just a customer—you’re an owner, a neighbor, and a vital part of a tradition built on trust, service, and community.

Are you tired of the high gas prices?
Becoming a member of the CO-OP can save you up to $0.05/gallon at the fuel pump when you fuel up using your CO-OP Convenience Card. That’s right! In addition to keeping fuel prices as low as possible we encourage you to save even more! Call us at 208.263.6820 to see how easy it is to open an account and start saving right away on the fuel products you are buying anyway!

What's Coming Up?
A quick view of the 10 day forcast for the area shows mild temperatures but not much rain. So the evenings should be great for star gazing and some interesting events coming up. Bewteen June 7 - 10 about 9 pm or later, try to catch Venus and Jupiter coming together low in the western sky in a conjunction worth waiting for. If you are a morning person, try to catch the moon, Jupiter and Venus in the eastern sky about 4:40 am on June 16th. And of course the Summer Solstice arrives on June 21 @ 4:24 a.m.

Garden Time is HERE! Yahoo!!
We are now considered past the last frost date for north Idaho , but, depending on elevation, humidity, and other weather weirdness, we still need to pay attention to the random frost warning. The CO-OP still has a great selection of flower and vegetable seeds, water cans, soil amendments and more! You DO need another really adorable watering can….right?
And here is a garden tip: If you have birds or other pests that like to get at your new plantings, protect the plants wil tulle! It is light weight and water goes right through it! It will not weigh doen the plants. Hold it in place with landscape staples. I have already used this on the tulips to protect from the deer and over the strawberry patch.
